ENOC Group, the integrated energy partner of Expo 2020 Dubai, unveiled yesterday its plans to build one of the most attractive pavilions in the exhibition, with an innovative design that will inspire visitors during the six-month global event to be held on October 20.
By adopting innovative and unique design concepts, the stand embodies ENOC's leading position in the energy sector, which is reflected in the wing's slogan “Inspiration from Energy”, the group said in a statement.
The pavilion is set to take visitors on an inspiring journey that explores the role of energy, past, present and future, opening new horizons for interaction and constructive dialogue to develop the sector, highlighting the pivotal role that ENOC contributes to driving energy sustainability through its initiatives based on innovation and advanced technologies.
The architectural design of the pavilion is inspired by oil reservoirs, where five distinct buildings take visitors on a multi-sensory journey through topics including: exploring (what is energy), interacting (ways to benefit from energy), cooperation (energy needs), and imagining (promising energy potential) ).
The ENOC Pavilion was constructed using 650 tonnes of steel and was designed and engineered for later succession.
The pavilion will include the Business Council area, which is dedicated to government agencies and other stakeholders in the sector, to interact and communicate in search of answers to difficult questions in the sector. In a first-of-its-kind journey, visitors will also be able to “feel” energy using ultrasound, visual and auditory narration, sensory experiences, motor actions and interactive projectors.
Flooring made from recycled rubber will be used in motor sports playgrounds, and water from air conditioning will be collected and used to irrigate the greenery.
