The Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing Department (DTTC) has announced that 10 startups will compete in the FutureStream program this year. The Middle East and North Africa's largest start-up conference will be held at the GITEX Technology Week from 6 to 9 October.

The Department said in a statement that it will organize a series of discussion sessions and workshops during its participation in the exhibition, pointing out that these activities aim to highlight the trends of the global travel and tourism sector, in addition to establishing Dubai as a leading center in the field of digital transformation of this vital sector, It is also becoming increasingly attractive as an important business and trade hub, and is discussing possibilities to support alternative digital technology companies.

FUTURE CHRISM 2019 aims to strengthen the department's efforts to develop digital capabilities and entrepreneurship in the city, in line with the (10X) initiative, to enable the emirate to outperform other global cities by 10 years, as well as to enable emerging entrepreneurs From unveiling innovative tourism experiences in Dubai.

Dubai Tourism will announce the names of the winning company and its runner up to the prize of AED 100,000, which will also receive additional benefits, such as the issuance of licenses and work visas in Dubai, in addition to providing incubator offices in the emirate, with the possibility of obtaining future funding.
