At the UN General Assembly, the Iranian President delivered without much surprise to a new indictment against the United States. Iran refuses any negotiations with the United States as long as there are sanctions.

With our special correspondent in New York, Murielle Paradon

" We can not believe in a bargaining offer from those who are killing the Iranian people ," Hassan Rohani said, citing US sanctions against his country. Sanctions labeled as "economic terrorism".

No question therefore to resume the dialogue as long as these sanctions are not lifted. Hassan Rohani camps on his positions. He recalled that it was Donald Trump who had withdrawn from the nuclear deal and that Iran had respected its commitments to a certain extent, because " our patience has limits ", did he says.

The Iranian president has also accused Europeans of being unable to act. Faced with pressure, Hassan Rohani says his country will respond forcefully and he wants another way. He proposes a coalition of states for the security of the Gulf region called "Coalition of Hope".

He wants, he says, peace rather than violence and in the end there will be the negotiating table. " The negotiating table " are the last words of the Iranian president at the UN forum.
