As noted, this statement was made before the meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the European Commission for Energy Union Affairs Maros Shefchovich.
Earlier it was reported that Shefchovich began a meeting with the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Alexey Orzhel and the head of Naftogaz Andrey Kobolev.
Trilateral gas consultations between Russia, the EU and Ukraine will be held on September 19 in Brussels.
