Dubai Airports Corporation has unveiled the new DXB Taxi service available at Concourse B, Terminal 3 from Dubai International Airport.
The new service, which was launched to facilitate the journey of customers inside the premises of Dubai International Airport, is now available through a fleet of vehicles with a capacity of 15 seats, pointing out that passengers can request it from specific points in the «arrivals» and "Departing" in Concourse B, or simply pointing to it when you see it.
Dubai Airports pointed out that although these vehicles, which carry passengers directly to their gates or to a restaurant or shop at Dubai International Airport, are available for use by everyone, priority will be given to those who have difficulty walking, or accompanied by children. .
Essa Al Shamsi, Executive Vice President of Operations at Dubai Airports, said that the introduction of the DXB Taxi service is a direct response to the needs of customers who find the service of vehicles very useful in terms of reducing walking and quickly reaching their target. He added: «In the past we run similar services, but this service is completely free for customers, and has been very popular in the testing phase».
According to Dubai Airports, the DXB Taxi service is operated by the airport's customer service team. The team has received special training for this purpose and has been provided with updated flight information to ensure that passengers arrive at their destinations on time.
