Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) yesterday hosted 14 new regional and international exhibitions and conferences in the new season of events that began with the Middle East Handling Equipment Exhibition in the first week of this month.
By the end of 2019, the Center will witness the organization and hosting of 54 diverse events, which reflect the vital role of the Center in enhancing Dubai's position as a leading global destination in the region's events sector.
He pointed out that the most prominent new events, which are organized for the first time this year, include: World Congress of Neuroscience 2019, which will be held in October, while the Center will host in November the symposium of the International Academy of Astronautics in the field of human space, as well as the conference of young professionals in the field of space .
He added that in December, the Amway Entrepreneurship Symposium in Asia-Pacific will bring together dignitaries and leaders from 11 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as a number of other events covering a wide range of sectors and industries, including food, hospitality, hotels and information technology. Construction, medicine, science, finance, business, automotive, transportation, energy, environment, manufacturing, among others.
Maher Julfar, Senior Vice President, Dubai World Trade Center, said: “The range of events that the event hosts this season reflects the outstanding importance of the event sector and the development it has witnessed over the past years.”
He added: «There is no doubt that the remaining months of this year will witness one of the most exciting and diverse seasons in the events organized and hosted by the Center, which has become a prominent global position».
He stressed that «the center will continue the momentum of success for four decades, during which he was able to strengthen the position of Dubai World in the sector of exhibitions and conferences, and had a significant impact in all economic sectors in Dubai».
Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) will host the 17th edition of Cityscape, the most influential event in the field of real estate investment and development in the UAE and the most promising markets in the world. GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK and the fourth edition of GITEX FUTURE STAR EXHIBITION, from October 6 to 10, are among the most important events in the world in the ICT industry.
