Abu Dhabi Airports has announced the launch of Al Salam Airlines, Oman's first low-cost carrier (LCC), to operate four weekly flights between Abu Dhabi International Airports and Muscat International.

Abu Dhabi International Airport received the first flight from Muscat Airport on Wednesday, September 10, and the four flights from Muscat International Airport will run on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 9:00 am local time to Muscat, arriving at Abu Dhabi International Airport at 10:20 am Return flights will depart from Abu Dhabi at 11:05 AM, arriving in Muscat at 12:05 PM local time.

The new flights will provide an opportunity for citizens and residents to visit the city of Muscat via a short trip, at a reasonable price to enhance travel for both tourism and business between the two sister countries.
