It is noted that at the same time it was proposed "to ban the use of Facebook-Libra cryptocurrencies in the EU in order to protect its financial sovereignty."
It is specified that the corresponding proposal has already been submitted to the meeting of the Eurogroup and "will be considered at the next meeting of the IMF in October in Washington."
Earlier, the head of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, proposed to abandon the dollar as a reserve currency and find a new electronic currency to replace it.
