The company Ukrtransgaz reported an increase in gas transit from Russia through Ukrainian territory.

“The transit amounted to 59.5 billion cubic meters. m of natural gas from Russia to the EU countries and Moldova. Compared with last year's figures, transit volumes increased by 2%, ”the statement said.
Also, Ukrtransgaz noted that as of September 1, Ukraine imported 9.6 billion cubic meters from EU countries to Ukraine. m of gas, which is 40% more than in the eight months of last year.
Earlier, the European Commission announced the date of negotiations on gas with Russia and Ukraine.

He did not rule out that the winter package that was used before would be adopted.
