Rosstat recorded a decline in consumer prices in Russia

“For the period from September 3 to 9, 2019, the consumer price index, according to the Federal State Statistics Service, amounted to 99.9%,” the ministry said.

It is clarified that inflation on consumer goods since the beginning of the year amounted to 2.3%.

In July, Rosstat recorded deflation for the first time since 2017.
