US authorities have launched a competition investigation into Amazon because of the company's marketplace, reports Bloomberg news agency based on parties selling items through Amazon. A team would question the sellers to get an idea of ​​how much power Amazon actually has.

The researchers want to know, among other things, what percent of the revenue from the sellers comes from Amazon, compared to other online market places such as those from Walmart and eBay.

The news agency relies on, among others, a seller on Amazon who filed a complaint with the authorities and was called back within a day. According to Bloomberg , this means that the research is in an exploratory phase.
