With the cashless payment point reduction system implemented in conjunction with the increase in the consumption tax rate, the application period is six days for small and medium-sized stores to participate from the beginning of next month. Applications can be made after 7 days, but the examination takes about a month, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry calls for an early application.

The pointless system for cashless settlement will be implemented at the same time as the consumption tax rate increase on the 1st of next month as an economic measure. If you pay cashless settlement at a small and medium-sized store, a maximum of 5% will be returned as points.

Stores that want to participate apply for the necessary documents such as opening notifications and tax payment certificates by submitting them to payment companies such as credit card companies, but the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will participate from the beginning of the first day of next month. 6 days are due for application.

Applications can be made after the 7th, but the examination will take about a month, so it will not be in time for the 1st of next month, and will be delayed.

The number of applications so far has reached 530,000 as of the 2nd of this month, which is about a quarter of the 2 million stores nationwide that can be eligible for the system.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has called, “We are urgently reviewing so that even one store can participate in many stores. If you wish to participate, please apply as soon as possible.”
