Food maker Fujicco, headquartered in Kobe, announced that it will raise the price of ingredients such as kelp and black beans sold for New Year by 3% to 5% at the end of the year.
Price increases will be made on 31 items such as “Omesan Tanba Kuro Kurozu Daibukuro” and “Umami Finish Hitokuchi Kombu” sold as Osechi ingredients.
From November 1st, the price will be increased from 3% to 5%, and the main product, black beans, will now be 380 yen for 362 yen without tax.
Reasons for price increase The company has cited that the harvest of black beans and kelp has continued to decline due to bad weather and rising seawater temperature, and that packaging materials and logistics costs have soared. . We will also raise the value of commercial products.
