DUBAI - Dubai's commercial control and consumer protection sector will begin a series of field visits tomorrow to a variety of shops and establishments in the local market in the emirate of Dubai. Lootah added that the sector team in the `` Commitment Day '' initiative in 2018 visited at least 515 commercial establishments in a number of areas in the emirate, pointing out that «during those visits were alerted to the presence of a note or violation of the trade license in 74 commercial establishments.

He stressed that «the sector aims primarily to facilitate the conduct of business and the preservation of rights between the consumer and the trader», pointing out that «raising the level of awareness in the business community will increase the culture of buying and selling and raise the standards of quality and best practices, and excellence in offering products and services to consumers "This ensures that consumers are protected and complaints are significantly reduced."
