Abu Dhabi Airports has announced the arrival of over 4.5 million passengers through the Abu Dhabi International Airport during the summer months, which lasted between June and August, including departures, arrivals and transit.

During the summer, Abu Dhabi International Airport witnessed the highest influx of passengers from five major international destinations - London, New Delhi, Bombay, Cairo and Cochin. The number of passengers arriving and departing from these destinations through Abu Dhabi International Airport reached 900 thousand and 104 passengers, while the number of passengers during The Eid Al-Adha holiday, which lasted between 7 and 17 July, to 713,297 passengers arriving, departing and transit.
