DUBAI (Reuters) - UAE's Lulu supermarket group said on Wednesday it plans to invest $ 500 million in Egypt's retail sector.
The company plans to build shopping malls, hypermarkets and small markets to provide 8,000 sustainable jobs, the group's chairman and managing director Yousef Ali said in a statement.
The agreement was signed by the company with the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade and the Egyptian Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities.
