He pointed out that the UAE won the majority of votes in the tender that took place to choose the city where the conference is being held, after a competition with three international cities, explaining that the factors that qualified Abu Dhabi to win the hosting of the conference, it is a major player in the global energy sector, as well as advanced infrastructure In addition, the airline has direct links to most countries in the world, pointing out that the UAE ranked first in the security and safety index with many regional and international reports, which contributed to its victory Addition the conference.
Al Neyadi stressed that the UAE experience in the field of energy has set an example, through its ambitious plans to diversify and develop energy sources and participate in shaping the future, including the implementation of two of the largest solar energy projects in the world.
He pointed out that the conference will witness the presence of a number of spokespersons and leaders of the energy sector in the UAE, led by Minister of Energy and Industry, Eng. Pass.
He pointed out that more than 100 local and international start-up companies are participating in the conference, and showcased during the exhibition many of the latest innovations in the energy sector during the conference, pointing out that many of the major financial institutions will participate in the conference and offer many financing opportunities to participating companies, both emerging Or medium and large.
He revealed that DP World will present during the conference the latest developments of the Hyperloop project in the UAE, as well as a model of the project and its design models, noting that many of the major local and international insurance companies will participate in the conference to discuss the opportunities and challenges of the sector.
He pointed out that some insurance companies are reluctant to provide insurance services in the sector, and some companies face difficulty in the insurance operations on electric cars in particular, pointing to the importance of insurance on the huge assets in the energy sector.
He added that the conference will witness many events, such as the Asian Ministers' Round Table and the meeting of the OPEC Monitoring Committee, noting that the developments of cybersecurity and the fifth generation and its applications will be among the focuses of the conference due to the significant impact expected in the sector.
