According to TASS, this is stated in the published materials of the White House to the participation of US President Donald trump in the summit in France.

“The President intends to work with G7 partners in countering the growth of unfair trade practices,” the documents indicate.

It is specified that the list of such “trade practices” includes, in particular, industrial subsidies, a state-driven economy, and the forced transfer of technology.

“The United States will seek reform of the WTO, which would guarantee the agreement of all members on the principles of the organization,” the White House said.

Earlier, Trump admitted that the United States will withdraw from the WTO "if necessary." The rules of the organization, he said, provide an opportunity for other countries to "use the United States."

The Kremlin, commenting on this probability, noted that if the United States leaves the organization, its existence will be in great doubt.

Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin said that the US withdrawal from the WTO could give an impetus to its reform, and such a Washington decision would not be fatal for the organization.
