Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd., a major credit card company, announced that there was an unauthorized access to the smartphone application for members, and that there may have been unauthorized logins in approximately 16,700 cases.
No damage such as credit card abuse has been confirmed, but the user's name and usage details may have been viewed.
