Major machinery manufacturers showing the future of corporate capital investment, the order value in June increased for the first time in two months, and the Cabinet Office deferred the keynote to “recovery movement”.

According to the “Mechanical Order Statistics” released by the Cabinet Office, the amount of orders received by major machinery manufacturers from domestic companies in June was 96.3 billion yen, excluding ships and power, which are subject to large fluctuations.

This is an increase of 13.9% over the previous month, the first increase in 2 months. This was mainly due to large-scale orders for railway vehicles and computer-related orders from companies such as transportation and finance.

In response to this, the Cabinet Office deferred the keynote judgment of machinery orders to “There is a movement of picking up”.

On the other hand, the Cabinet Office has announced that the machine orders from July to September will decrease by 6.1% compared to the previous three months.

The Cabinet Office says, “The order results show that domestic demand is strong, but I would like to look carefully at the impact of US-China trade friction on corporate capital investment.”
