"Unizo Holdings", which operates the hotel business, has announced that it is against the TOB = tender tender offer by a major travel agency, HIS. The synergy effect of the alliance cannot be expected, and it became a hostile TOB.
For UNIZO Holdings, a major travel agency, HIS will increase its shareholding ratio to 45%, saying it wants to increase the value of both companies by sharing know-how to operate hotels. Aiming for this, we started a tender offer for TOB = shares on the 11th of last month.
On the other hand, the Unizo side maintained its attitude, but revealed that it would oppose TOB by HIS on the 6th.
The reason for the hotel business is that Unizo targets single users for business purposes, while HIS mainly has different characteristics mainly for tourism purposes, and there is no prior contact with TOB, and there is a relationship of trust. In a situation where there is no such thing, we cannot expect a synergistic effect.
