Nineteen people were slightly injured after a British Airways plane landed at the Valencia airport (Spanish lift) with fire in one of the engines, according to official government sources.

Three of the minor injuries had to be taken to the hospital after being poisoned with the smoke from the fire.

While the rest was treated at the airport itself for causes such as chafing or anxiety crisis, according to EFE sources informed by the Delegation of the Valencian Government.

The Community Emergency Center received a notification on Monday afternoon of the fire that had been detected in one of the aircraft's engines upon landing, although there were no fire, only smoke, upon arrival of the firemen.

Then the emergency doors of the plane, which covered the London-Valencia route, were opened, and the passage went through them.

According to Emergencies, the airport did not activate the emergency phase, but air traffic was diverted about 25 minutes and subsequently restored.
