Western Union has limited the amount of transfers from Russia

"Since July 22, 2019, Western Union Payment System has set the maximum total amount of cross-border money transfers sent by one sender via Western Union Payment System to one country in the amount of 600 thousand Russian rubles," TASS quoted the company’s message .

The exception will be transfers to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam.

As noted, this restriction was introduced on the recommendation of the Central Bank of Russia.
