The New York Stock Exchange finished slightly lower Friday after a hesitant session, catching its breath at the end of a week of gains.
According to provisional results at the close, its flagship index, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, fell 0.12% to 26,722.04 points, and the Nasdaq index, with strong technological color, lost 0.24%, to 8,031.71 points.
