Citizens filed a lawsuit against former President Park Geun-hye for mental damage from the 'National Agricultural Corps' incident, but it was not accepted in court.
The Seoul Southern District Court ruled that plaintiffs were defeated in a lawsuit filed against Mr. Park by Mr. Kang.
They claimed that the citizens suffered mentally because the president committed an official misconduct, and claimed a total of 150 million won, 500,000 won per person.
Former President Park said, "It's not just a lawsuit but an extension of political struggle and propaganda."
In May, the Seoul Central District Court dismissed a lawsuit filed by former 4,000 citizens against Park.
