Two Asian people tried to steal an ATM machine in the industrial area, and destroyed the device in an attempt to steal the money inside, but they failed, and escaped fleeing, and Ajman police managed to seize them in less than 48 hours.
The Director of the Investigations and Criminal Investigations Department in Ajman Police, Lt. Col. Ahmed Saeed Al-Nuaimi, stated that the operations room received a report, stating that unknown persons destroyed an ATM machine in an industrial area.
He continued: Immediately, a team of investigation and formation was formed to uncover the mystery of the incident and arrest the accused, and by heading to the site of the accident it was revealed that the ATM machine was completely destroyed by unknown persons with the intention of theft, and their attempts were unsuccessful, and escaped fleeing from the accident site.
By searching and investigating, the investigation men were able to reach the two suspects, and seized them in their home in less than 48 hours, and they were found as Asian, and the tools used in the crime were found in their possession, and in confronting them, they confessed to committing the crime with the intention of stealing, and accordingly their testimonies were taken, and they were referred with the case file to The Public Prosecution.
Al-Nuaimi praised the competence, expertise, vigilance and efforts of the police, in which they were able to arrest the defendants in record time, calling on the public not to hesitate to report any person who commits any crime, and assured that Ajman Police will be a lookout, and will deal firmly with everyone who tries to touch Homeland security and the safety of citizens and residents.
