A fire broke out at a factory in Siheung, Gyeonggi-do, and the fire department estimated more than 100 million won in damage.

Today (7th) around 1 am, a big fire broke out at the Seongseo Industrial Complex in Dalseo-gu, Daegu.

The fire authorities once issued a second stage of response and put out 220 manpower and 70 pieces of equipment to put out a large fire in about 3 hours and 20 minutes after receiving the report.

Immediately after the fire, all nearby personnel were evacuated and no one was reported to be injured.



The place where the fire started was a paper manufacturing plant in the industrial complex, and it was found that it had difficulty extinguishing because there were many rides.



The fire department plans to investigate the exact cause of the fire as soon as it finishes cleaning up the remaining fire.

Yesterday at around 5:50 pm, a fire of unknown cause also extinguished in 3 hours and 20 minutes at a plastic injection plant in Siheung, Gyeonggi-do.



The fire evacuated three workers and burned down the entire factory building, causing damages estimated at 170 million won by the fire department.
