Heavy rains, mainly in the central region, caused large and small damage such as flooding and isolation in various places.

Due to the heavy rain that day, in the Gangnam Station area, all roads and roadways were submerged due to the sewage backflow phenomenon, and in the Yangjae Station area, the water rose enough to partially submerge the wheels of the vehicle.

Subway services were also suspended in many places.

As Yeongdeungpo Station was flooded, all downbound services on Line 1 were suspended.

Oryu-dong Station on the Gyeongin Line was also flooded and trains were delayed.

Inundation has also occurred in Sadang-ro, Gangnam, and Jamwon-ro, Dongjak-gu, causing confusion as broken-down vehicles line up.

The daily precipitation in northern Gyeonggi was close to 200mm.

The Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters rescued six citizens who were isolated in the waters from Yeoncheon, Pocheon, Ansan, and Gwacheon as of 5 pm.

In addition, houses and roads were flooded, and street trees fell one after another.

The Incheon Fire Department also received more than 80 reports of heavy rain damage.

According to the Gangwon-do Fire Department, a house in Dongsong-eup, Cheorwon-gun, was flooded around 11:20 a.m., and two residents temporarily evacuated to the village hall and then returned home.
