Yesterday (24th) at around 9:45 pm, a man in his 60s set a fire in the emergency room of Pusan National University Hospital in Seo-gu, Busan.
The fire was put out immediately by hospital officials, including medical staff, but the arson suspect, 63-year-old Mo Jo, suffered second and third degree burns to his shoulder and leg.
Police believe that Mr. Cho, who visited the emergency room with his wife, was dissatisfied with hospital treatment and committed the crime.
It was investigated that Cho tried to set fire by putting gasoline in a plastic bottle.
The police plan to investigate the exact motive of the crime as soon as Cho's treatment is completed.
