The family of Lee Dae-jin, a public official who was murdered in the West Sea, expressed anger over the results of the investigation overturned in two years, saying that the investigation was based on the North Korean frame.

The bereaved family, including the spouse and brother of the murdered public official, held a press conference in the auditorium on the 5th floor of the Seoul Bar Center today (17th) and expressed their position on the results of the investigation by the Coast Guard, which said there was no evidence of voluntarily defecting to North Korea.

The bereaved family released the statements of Mugunghwa No. 10 employees they received from the Coast Guard last night.

The bereaved family said, "The staff stated that Lee Dae-jin was not a person to defect to North Korea.

In addition, lawyer Kim Ki-yoon, the legal representative of the bereaved family, said, "What is particularly noteworthy is the statement related to the 'waterproof suit'."

Lawyer Kim said, "Until now, the Coast Guard did not mention the waterproof suit even though it was placed in the room of the deceased. It was collected and announced that it was North Korea,” he raised his voice.

The key data held by the Blue House are sealed as presidential records.

He also said, "According to the Presidential Records Act, the disclosure can be made if more than two-thirds of the members of the National Assembly approve it.

On the other hand, the bereaved family said that the Coast Guard withdrew the appeal and received the initial investigation data along with the statement of testimony, but the amount is considerable and will be disclosed after sufficient review.

However, he added that there was no word 'North Korea' in the initial investigation materials of the Coast Guard.
