Seo Ye-jin, a former Miss Korea who ran into a street tree while driving in a drunken state, was fined.
The Seoul Central District Court's 27th Criminal Court issued a summary order of 7 million won in fines to Seo, who was abbreviated for drunk driving.
Seo was briefly indicted on the charge of crashing into a street tree while driving a drunk Mercedes-Benz on a street in Gangnam-gu, Seoul around 0 am on the 28th of January.
Seo's blood alcohol level measured at the site was 0.108%, which was the level of his driver's license revocation.
Seo won the Miss Korea pageant in 2018 and has since worked as a reporter.
