A was caught on the 14th of last month by a woman in her 50s who was the owner of a restaurant in Jung-gu, Daejeon.

On that day, Mr. A entered the restaurant at around 8:14 pm, sat down alone, ate alcohol and snacks, and then 1 hour and 50 minutes later, the owner sneaked out of the restaurant without paying while the owner was selling his eyes for a while.

The police tracked Mr. A's movement by analyzing CCTV inside the restaurant and a black box video of a car parked nearby, and on the 20th of last month, he was arrested at a restaurant.

As a result of the police investigation, it was found that Mr. A repeatedly committed this crime while staying home at an abandoned motel in Jung-gu, Daejeon, after serving his time in prison for no drunkenness in May of last year.

A police official said, "The crime was deliberately committed in a situation where a small restaurant is experiencing difficulties in the aftermath of Corona 19."

This is a 'news pick'.
