It was later confirmed that Korea University canceled the admission to the Department of Environmental and Ecological Engineering at the College of Life Sciences for the daughter of former Justice Minister Cho Kuk, Cho Min.

In a press release on the 7th, Korea University said, "We have conducted procedures such as collecting and reviewing related data, clarification of documents by a legal representative, and clarification in person." E) I confirmed that it was listed,” he explained.

Korea University added that during this process, Cho's mother, Jeong Kyung-shim, a former professor at Dongyang University, reviewed the Supreme Court ruling on corruption in the children's entrance exam and Cho's school life record submitted to the 2010 admissions process, he added.

The school explained the progress, "The Admission Revocation Review Committee (Deliberation Committee) deliberated and decided to cancel the admission of the subject on February 22, 2022 in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Higher Education Act and the admission guidelines for the 2010 academic year of Korea University." .

However, this decision was confirmed to have already been made before the election, so it is expected that controversy will arise.

Korea University sent a notice of results to Mr. Cho on Feb. 28 after the admission cancellation disposition was approved on Feb. 25, and it was confirmed that Mr. Cho received it on March 2, before the election.

After the controversy over Cho's illegal admission arose, Korea University formed the Admission Revocation Deliberation Committee on August 20 last year to discuss whether or not to cancel Cho's admission.

Regarding the reason for the belated disclosure of the disposition made last month, a Korea University official said, "We were not able to know the process or the result because the Deliberation Committee proceeded (discussing whether to cancel admission) on a confidential basis."

He continued, "On April 6, an official letter from the Ministry of Education inquiring about 'how the deliberation committee process is progressing' came, and I found out about the results of the disposition in the process of preparing an answer. Jira distributed the press release in a lump sum," he explained.

Previously, Pusan National University also announced on the 5th of this month that it had decided to cancel Cho's admission to the medical school for the 2015 academic year.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare is going to start the process of revoking Mr. Cho's doctor's license.

After graduating from the School of Environmental and Ecological Engineering at Korea University, Cho entered the Pusan National University Graduate School of Medicine and passed the national examination for doctors in January last year.

On January 27 of this year, the Supreme Court found that former professor Jeong forged his daughter Cho's certificate of citation at Dongyang University and exercised unjust influence on Cho's entrance exam (obstruction of business, etc.) has been confirmed.

The Supreme Court also judged Cho's '7 major specifications', which was the core of the controversy over corruption in the entrance exam, to be false.

Cho's seven specifications are: ▲ Seoul National University Public Interest Human Rights Law Center Internship Confirmation ▲ Dongyang University President's Citation ▲ Dongyang University Language Academy Education Center Assistant Researcher Activities ▲ Busan Aqua Palace Hotel Internship Confirmation Letter ▲ Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) Internship Confirmation Letter ▲ Gongju University Biotechnology Research Institute Internship Confirmation Letter ▲ Dankook University Medical Science Research Institute internship confirmation, etc.

Among them, four specifications, including internship activities and thesis at Dankook University's Medical Science Research Institute, were included in the high school life record and used when Cho entered Korea University.
