Two black-breasted bears escaped from a bear breeding farm in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, and one was killed, and the local government is searching for the remaining one.
According to the city of Yongin, at around 10:30 am on the 6th, a report was received that two half-breasted bears had disappeared from a bear breeding farm in Idong-eup, Cheoin-gu.
At that time, the iron kennel installed on the farm was in a damaged state.
Then, around 12:50, a sergeant involved in the search operation found and killed a bear in the Cheon-ri area of Dong-eup, and the local government is also looking for the one remaining.
An official from Yongin City said, "There is a rumor that there was one bear that escaped in the first place, so additional confirmation is necessary." He said, "We are searching the Idong-eup area together with related agencies."
Yongin city also sent an emergency text message to nearby residents saying, "The bear has escaped, so please be careful.
