A driver in his 30s disappeared from a vehicle built on the Incheon Bridge, and the coast guard started searching.
According to the Incheon Maritime Police Station, on the 27th, at around 11:15 pm on the 27th, a report was filed by the Coast Guard saying, "There is a vehicle standing on the side of the road" at a point of 11.7km in the direction of Incheon Bridge in Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon City.
“There is a person believed to be a investigator on the bridge,” said the reporter, and “there is only a car standing on the shoulder.”
A (34) mobile phone was found as a result of a sea police officer who was dispatched to the site and checked the inside of the vehicle.
The maritime police and fire departments believe that there is a possibility that Mr. A, who is believed to be the driver of a vehicle, fell into the sea and disappeared.
At the time, the vehicle was found to be in a blind spot that the Incheon Bridge CCTV did not illuminate.
The maritime police and firefighting authorities are mobilizing five ships, including firefighting boats and security ships, together with the navy to search the waters near the Incheon Bridge.
An official from the Incheon Maritime Police Station said, "We are having difficulty in the search work, such as not being able to launch a helicopter due to poor weather conditions," and said, "We plan to continue the search by sea, leaving all possibilities open for accidents."
