were 303 new corona19 confirmed cases a day yesterday and increased to 300 again.

Among the new confirmed cases, 273 cases were infected in Korea, of which 217 were in the metropolitan area and 56 in the non-metropolitan area.

Overseas inflow cases were counted at 30.

Eight more died during treatment, resulting in a cumulative death of 1,482.

Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun expressed concern at the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters meeting held at the Sejong Office this morning, saying that three out of four domestic confirmed cases are still coming from the metropolitan area.
