Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong, who has been tried for bribing former President Park Geun-hye and Choi Seo-won.

The total amount of bribery was recognized as 8.6 billion won.

We followed the Supreme Court's judgment as a bribe, including the donation to the Winter Gifted Center, which was considered innocent in the appeal trial, and the purchase fee for the three horses provided to Mr.

The bribery amount increased by 5 billion won, and the court reaffirmed that "there was an aggressive bribe and an unjust solicitation for succession work."

Regarding the activities of the Samsung Compliance Committee, which is a key issue that will be a variable of the sentence, he judged that "it was difficult to commute to this extent," saying, "It did not meet the criteria for effectiveness."

So, the sentence for Vice Chairman Lee was two years and six months in prison.

He was arrested in court along with former head of the Future Strategy Officer Choi Ji-sung and former president Choong-ki Jang, who were sentenced to the same sentence.

This is a re-prisonment after 1,079 days after being released after being sentenced to probation at the appeal trial in February 2018.

Immediately after the sentence, Vice-Chairman Lee seemed unexpectedly stupid and replied briefly, saying, "I have nothing to say" even at the last chance to speak.

The special prosecutor Park Young-soo calmly stated that the sentence of imprisonment to Vice Chairman Lee and others was taking into account the purpose of the Supreme Court ruling, and Samsung expressed regret.

Both sides can receive the Supreme Court's judgment once more, but the results will change. There is little possibility, and the brother of the vice chairman has been virtually confirmed.
