Police arrested teenagers who stole Mercedes cars from apartment parking lots and drove hundreds of kilometers without a license.

The Incheon Nonhyeon Police Department announced today (30th) that it is investigating a middle school student A (15) on charges of driving without a license under the Special Theft and Road Traffic Act.

In addition, junior high school students B (15) and high school students C (16) were arrested and investigated on charges of special theft.

Group A and others are accused of driving 500km for several days without a license after stealing a Mercedes vehicle from an apartment parking lot in Nonhyeon-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon on the morning of the 22nd.

At around 3:30 am on the 27th, the police dispatched and arrested them after receiving a report that "children who appear to be students are driving".

As a result of the investigation, it was confirmed that Army A and others stole a Mercedes vehicle with an open door and started driving with a key stored inside.

The car they stole was left to the dealer for disposal by the company, the owner of a corporate car.

In a police investigation, Army A and others said, "I met older brothers I knew while passing by, and I paid money and rented it because they said'I rent a car for 24 hours'."

A police official said, "Once it was confirmed that one middle school student was driving, but the rest of them are also aware of whether they have driven a vehicle," said a police official.
