A man in his twenties enters an agency of the Korea Gold Exchange.

After looking around for a while, he handed an envelope to the agent's agent saying he would buy 250 million won worth of gold bars.

The envelope contained 50 checks worth 10 million won, 500 million won.

Kim Hyun-mo, a representative of the exchange, was suspicious of the appearance of a man constantly in touch with someone on his mobile phone, as if uneasy.

Return half to the man and immediately receive an ID for verification.

[Kim Hyun-mo/Korea Gold Exchange Agency Representative: A younger person than I thought came. He wasn't a person who could afford gold, especially 500 million won worth of money (checks). I asked the bank to check (check) once again whether it was voice phishing or not.]

After receiving the report of Mr. Kim, the police were dispatched.

The voice phishing organization tried to trick a man in his 60s to take out 500 million won from his account and wash it through a man in his 20s, a collection book.

The arrested man reportedly allegedly took part in the crime after seeing a job ad and did not know it was a voice phishing crime.

The police are conducting investigations into voice phishing organizations that ordered men to collect money while checking female offenses based on the male's call records.

In addition, the confiscated 500 million won will be returned to the owner under the command of the prosecution.
