Last night, it rained quite a bit in Seoul and other metropolitan areas. As the water level of the Han River continues to rise, road control is increasing everywhere. We connect to reporters who are out on the Han River Diving Bridge.

Reporter Jehee Hee, is the place where I am standing now a safe place? The water on the Han River is filling up very quickly.

<Reporter>

Yes, the dive bridge with which I was a little light and rainy.

However, the river behind me is terrifyingly blowing, and signs and trees are submerged in water.

As of now, the level of the diving bridge has exceeded 9.5m.

In just 7 hours, it climbed more than 1m, and the discharge of the Paldang Dam, which directly affects the water level of the Han River, is approaching 15,000 tons per second.

By the time this water flows down the Han River, the water level is likely to rise.

<Anchor> As the

water level rises, the control of roads around the Han River and around major rivers has increased.

<Reporter>

Yes. Increasingly, this control is increasing.

From around 9:30 last night, both directions from Yeomchang Naedokmok in Olympic-daero Bridge were controlled.

Also, from 3 o'clock in the morning, the section between Hangang Bridge and Mapo Bridge at Gangbyeonbuk-ro is controlled in both Ilsan and Guri.

From 2 am, the two-way section from Gunja Bridge to Seongsu Junction on the Eastern Main Road and Seongdong Junction on the inner ring road is also controlled.

In addition, the Yangjaecheon Yeongdong Bridge 1 and Woomyeon Bridge Bulgwangcheon Jeungsan Railway Bridge are under full control, so you should refer to them on your way to work.

Some metropolitan areas have forecasts of rain over 300mm by tomorrow, so you should listen to road conditions and weather information in real time.
