At about 10:50 AM, a report was received that four workers were buried when Yasan Tosa hit the back of a semiconductor equipment parts manufacturing plant in Cheongbuk-eup, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do.

A nearby fire department put in about 50 rescue workers and searched to rescue 4 people around 12:20 in the daytime.


Three were taken to the hospital unconscious, but died, and the other one was seriously injured.

At the time of the accident, the soil at the back of the factory was pushed down, and the shaft collapsed, and it was reported that it hit the tent tent-shaped workshop below.

There were six in the workplace, two of them escaped themselves from the burial site, the fire department said.

In Pyeongtaek, more than 130 mm of heavy rain has been poured today, and the accumulated precipitation has reached 400 mm since the 29th of last month.

Police and fire departments are investigating the exact nature of the accident.
