The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 30,631 martyrs and 72,043 injured since the seventh of last October. An Israeli official said that they are awaiting a response from the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) to proposals regarding prisoner exchange talks and a ceasefire in Gaza.
A Hamas leader said that leaders from the movement are expected to hold more talks in Cairo with Egyptian and Qatari mediators as part of efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement. UNICEF warned of an imminent deterioration and increase in the number of child deaths linked to malnutrition in the Gaza Strip.
