The prosecutors sentenced the death penalty in trial to appeal to Yu-jeong, who was sentenced to imprisonment in the first trial for murdering her ex-husband.

At today's (17th) afternoon at the High Court of Justice in Gwangju High Court, the prosecution asked for a death sentence.

The prosecution said the defendant committed serial murders, including two murders within three months to satisfy his desire to kill.

He also explained the reason for the death penalty, saying, "I committed a cruel crime against a thousand-year-old man who killed my dad (ex-husband) in front of my son and my son in front of my dad (current husband)."

Yu Yu-jeong, a lawyer, said, "It's hard to see that the indirect evidence proved to be enough to rule out reasonable doubts, such as whether the defendant was fed sleeping pills to his current husband, whether he was motivated to kill him or whether there was no possibility of killing a third party."

In the last statement, Yu Yu-jeong insisted that "he did not kill his stepchildren."

She cried with tears saying, "I want to reveal my feelings of death even if I die. Trust me."

Yoo Yu-jeong denied all of her charges, including deliberate murder of her ex-husband, by reading the last five to six pages of her own handwritten statement, and said, "I apologize for the cost of sin." I'll pay it all."

The appeal trial against Yu-jeong Jung will be held at 10 am on the 15th of next month (July).

Yoo Yu-jeong was put on trial on the night of May 25, last year, in a pension in Jeju City, where she killed and killed her ex-husband Kang Mo, who was then charged with murdering and throwing away her body.

The court of first instance sentenced to imprisonment for Yu Yu-jeong in February, but did not admit the alleged murder of his stepchildren.
