Win and Luleå would win the entire final series against Södertälje and crown their eighth Swedish Championship gold in ten years.

It was a very close start to the fourth final where no team stood out in terms of points.

Midway through the second period, there was a new team that went up in the lead in almost every attack. But before the third period, Luleå went up to a 39-32 lead, thanks to a buzzer-beater.

– You should watch the trainings then we put even more! But it means a lot to go into the half and have put a tough shot, it gives a lot of energy to the team, says Ellen Nyström to SVT.

At the same time, Södertälje had not made a single three-pointer, in eight attempts.

Södertälje started the third period by chasing Luleå, and they came closer as they were only two points behind a few minutes into the period. Towards the end of the third period, however, the points had started to run away for Luleå, which went up to a 14-point lead.

Going into the final period, Luleå had a 61-46 lead.

Södertälje started the final period well, but everything pointed to Luleå taking the Swedish Championship gold.

And so it would also be when Luleå won with 68-87 with a big-playing Ellen Nyström who scored 19 points.
