"My spontaneous feeling when I got the call was that I was damn happy. I've always seen Saik as a big club. As someone who has been in VSK for many years, I feel that it is the same dignity here, ie one of the biggest bandy associations, says the 48-year-old ex-goalkeeper Bergwall who took seven World Cup golds and who ended his career in AIK last season.

41-year-old Daniel Mossberg, three World Championship gold medals on the merit list, ended his career in connection with this year's playoffs where he played for Sandviken.

"Bandy has been my life, you've lived bandy all the time and this is going to be fantastic fun, to do something new and contribute what I can," he tells Bandypuls.

In addition, Daniel "Zeke" Eriksson will be given an advisory role in the new coaching structure.

Sandviken was in five straight Swedish Championship finals from 2011 to 2015 but has not been to the final since 2018.
