The winner Simen Hegstad Krüger went out one minute after Poromaa and was only eleven seconds behind Poromaa at the finish line, completely finished.

There were four Norwegians at the top.

There, in other words, Poromaa was the best skier outside Norway - just like in the skiathlon when there were also four Norwegians in the top.

Poromaa went out first of the seeded riders and got good back times on the subsequent riders.

Poromaa went out hard but controlled.

At 7.7 km he was fourth, three tenths behind Hans Christer Holund, who was third.

Skiathlon winner Hegstad Krüger was strongly challenged by Harald Östberg Amundsen, who took in a lot at the end.

Krüger anxiously waited for his compatriot and was then able to celebrate another WC gold.
