In the summer of 2021, the Finnish national team player left PK-35 in Helsinki for games in Sweden and Kif Örebro.

Now she takes the next step in her career and signs a contract with Linköping FC.

- Linköping has always been a tough opponent and their football has been fantastic to follow.

I look forward to being a part of it, she says in the press release and continues:

- I am super happy about the contract with Linköping.

It is fantastic to represent this team and club.

The choice was relatively easy for me because I have heard very good things about both the team and the rest of the organization.

"I like her high level of ambition"

In LFC, Rantanen is supposed to be used mainly as a striker.

- Amanda is fast, challenges "one-on-one" and has a good left foot.

With these qualities, she will fit well into our style of play and contribute to the continued development of our attacking game.

I also like her high level of ambition and the desire to develop in a, for her, new role, says coach Andrée Jeglertz.
