Bentuho's captain Son Heung-min will start against Uruguay after recovering from a facial injury.

Son Heung-min was named on the list of Korean starters, which was released about an hour before the kick-off of the first leg of Group H of the 2022 Qatar World Cup group stage between Korea and Uruguay.

Korean national team coach Paulo Bento is expected to adopt a 4-1-4-1 tactic, placing Hwang Eui-jo as the forward striker and Na Sang-ho as the striker instead of Son Heung-min and injured Hwang Hee-chan on the left and right flanks.

Hwang In-beom and Lee Jae-seong are placed in the second line of attack, and Jung Woo-young is the defensive midfielder.

The four-back defense line consists of Kim Jin-soo, Kim Young-gwon, Kim Min-jae, and Kim Moon-hwan from the left, and Kim Seung-gyu wears the goalkeeper gloves.
