Lyon continued their recovery on Sunday by resisting Lille (1-0) during the 13th day of Ligue 1, marked by a change on the third step of the podium, abandoned by Lorient in favor of Rennes, attractive winner of Montpellier (3- 0).

Lorient on his side marks time and descends from the podium.

Olympique Lyonnais can count on its "president", Laurent Blanc, but also on its "general" Alexandre Lacazette.

The beginnings of the coach at home were embellished by the Lyon captain: the striker took responsibility by going to score the only goal of the match at the end of the match (74th).

An achievement against the course of the game, or almost, as Lille have destabilized the Rhone defense.

Lyon has a second success in a row for the first time since the beginning of September and can finally breathe, with an 8th place in the standings, two lengths behind their evening opponent.

Rennes impresses, Lorien stalls

Strasbourg, Nantes, Lyon, Angers and now Montpellier suffered the same sentence, a defeat against the Breton offensive armada, as impressive as they were tireless despite their midweek European matches.

Between Martin Terrier, Amine Gouiri and Arnaud Kalimuendo, all three scorers, the agreement is perfect, four days before the reception of the Cypriots of Larnaca in the Europa League, a decisive match for direct qualification in the round of 16.

In France, the Bretons have the best series of Ligue 1 victories (five) and logically occupy 3rd place, just ahead of Lorient, overthrown by Nice (2-1) and doubled on goal difference by Rennes.

The Hakes were however brilliant for an hour, scored thanks to Dango Ouattara, but Youcef Atal then Gaëtan Laborde reversed the trend.

Les Aiglons entered the top 10 with this fourth victory of the season.

With one point taken in three matches, the FCL remains at the gates of the podium.
