Lindahl was close to his first three-pointer with Djurgården, but Sunday's away meeting with Brommapojkarna ended 1-1 after BP equalized with just over ten minutes left in regular time.

BP's equalizer caused the goalkeeper to see red and her outburst was caught by SVT's cameras.

Afterwards, late at night, Lindahl was remorseful.

Lindahl apologizes on Twitter

"Sleepless night, as I said something stupid yesterday for which I apologize.

I want to help, not upset.

Everyone who knows me knows that and I hope those affected will forgive my mistake," writes the goalkeeper on Twitter.

The 39-year-old has also shared a screenshot where she replied to another Twitter user:

"Yesterday I apologized to the girls for what I said.

That's not how I felt in that situation, but I was annoyed at not being able to help the team more.

That's what I felt, but with 'damn' it was completely wrong and it's not ok," she writes.

The point against BP was Lindahl's first since she joined Djurgården last summer, before that Dif and Lindahl had four straight losses: 1-2 against Linköping, 0-3 against Hammarby, 0-1 against Eskilstuna and 0-3 against Vittsjö.

Djurgården is tenth in the women's league with six rounds left to play.
